This week im listening to the BATMAN BEGINS SOUNDTRACK, www.batmanbegins.com , its a incridible job of Hanz Zimmer and James Newton Howard, i think its very worhty, has a kind of mysterious and darkness that i like so much.
One of the most aclaimed movies of the year is no doubts MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA, www.memoirsofageisha.com , based on a unforgetable novel of arthur Golden, the movie is a masterpiece though the japanese critics, for have on the cast hot stars like ZHANG ZIYI, MICHELLE YEOH and, GONG LI, they are no japanese but their character are!. i really can´t wait to watch this movie, that will be come out next DECEMBER 23Th, but in Brazil only in Feb, 02nd, anyway i think it will be a great movie and will be on hte oscar 2006 too.

VARDEVINO THE TELLER TALE
The History of a man who had got a 1973 VW Atomic Variant
Vardevino wake up early everyday, and with his lame leg, he walks with a little bit of difficulty, but that’s not enough to get him in a bad humor. On his way towards his job, Vardevino use to stop three times to smoke a cigarette, and before starts his work, he use to go to the pub and drink a Brazilian cachaça, just for let him more lively in his daily work.
Vardevino´s life is full of histories, but that’s good because at least he tells only the funniest ones of his past. Sometimes I’d like Vardevino had a better luck in his life, ´cause he lives too far away of his family and he seems a bit abandoned.
The old man was so quite mad about fishing that he could leave his own mother on the gallows just to go fishing; he even had already been fired of three jobs ´cause of fishes when he was younger.
One of his tales, it was when he had a “happy” meet with Clodovil “ a famous Brazilian stylist” Gosh!, he went there for service and he talked a lot to Clodovil, by the way, Clodovil is very arrogant and conceited, tough Vardevino invented thousands of tales trying to be dawn in terms of arrogance with Clodovil.
Among his several tales, the most incredible one is the fact of himself has created the “workers party” the current politic party that rules Brazil. He said he was the major partner of Lula (The Brazil President) when he was a mere militant. Tough I think Vardevino should be arrested for create such a fucking shit party. He also had already played in Raul Seixas (A famous singer) battery, when he was at Raul´s home; he said Raul even had invited him to make up his band, ´cause he said Raul Seixas considered him a worthy talent.
Thus the most impressing Vardevino tale tells about his 1973 VW Variant brasilia car, in which Vardevino had powered it with a Porsche motor, one day during one of his running through Sao Paulo, he crossed anybody more than EMERSON FITTIPALDI (three times champion of Formula One Racing), and asked for Fittipaldi, about his powered blue 1973 variant, Vardevino told him that his variant was of a limited Volkswagen edition. Furthermore, Vardevino said that Fittipaldi cried Vardevino out to sell him the blue variant.
Thus, Vardevino´s life goes on, I don’t know about the veracity of his tales, but I know he goes on, maybe Vardevino be a character of his own glorious past, whose in his eminent decadence he can not be free. May God Bless Vardevino, and also his tale.

My name is Isaias Caceres, I live in Miami, Florida, USA. I found really interesting the site from memoirs of a geisha, i'm dying to go watch the movie since the ones that have seen it, tell me that it's very good, and even worst i'm dying to read the book, because my friends that have read it have told me it's really good.
